Symantec claims that this cautious online behaviour means that seniors are less likely to be a victim of an e-mail scam. In total, 18% of all Internet users have been victims of online fraud. The survey was carried out by market research firm Applied Research on behalf of Symantec. A total of 1,000 Internet users were polled aged 18 or older.
