their respective areas, as well as a wealth of resources and contacts to assist the company in its growth.
Dr. Stan Stahl, 57, is Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of iVille
International, Inc. Dr. Stahl has extensive experience in business strategy, technology
development, process management, and mathematical modeling. He earned a Ph.D. in
mathematics from The University of Michigan.
Dr. Stahl has worked with an impressive portfolio of organizations, including TRW,
IBM, Toyota, ARCO, Ashton-Tate, the White House, several branches of the Department
of Defense, NASA, The MITRE Corporation, Bainbridge Technology Group, and Logicon.
He has taught courses in business performance and technology management at USC, UCLA,
UC San Diego, and San Diego State University and has served on the Board of Directors
of both the National Center for Computer Crime Data and the Los Angeles Chapter of the
Information Systems Security Association.
Dr. Stahl was segment manager for Information Security Engineering at TRW where he
led TRW's advanced R&D programs in the development of multilevel secure database
management systems. As Principal Investigator of an Internal Research and Development
(IRAD) program, he led the design and development of the nation's first provably
correct multilevel secure database management systems.
Among his other activities at TRW, he served on the Industrial Information Security
Task Force, a national committee established by President Reagan's National Security
Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) to recommend government strategies to
secure industry sensitive unclassified information. He also served on a national Information
Security Study Group, assisting the National Security Agency and National Institute
of Standards and Technology in determining national information security needs.
Richard L. Bernacchi, 58, is a senior partner in the Los Angeles-based law
firm Irell & Manella LLP, one of the leading commercial law firms in California.
For over 30 years he has specialized in the legal, technical and strategic planning
issues and opportunities arising from computer hardware and software, multimedia,
telecommunications and other advanced technologies, including development, acquisition,
protection and exploitation of intellectual property; licensing, distribution, joint
venture and other strategic partnering arrangements; acquisitions and mergers; and
related contract disputes.
Mr. Bernacchi is a Co-Chairman of Committee R (International Computer
and Technology Law) of the International Bar Association's Section on Business Law;
member of the Advisory Board, former Director and Past President of the U.S.
Computer Law Association; co-author of Data Processing Contracts and the Law
(Little, Brown & Co., 1974); co-author of Bernacchi on Computer Law (Little, Brown & Co., 1986),
and a frequent lecturer. Mr. Bernacchi earned his law degree at the University of
Southern California Law Center in 1964, where he was Order of the Coif and Editor-in-Chief
of the Southern California Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree in
Accounting with highest honors from the University of Santa Clara in 1961.
Steven P. Tiberg, 52, is a Managing Director of Marsh Risk & Insurance Services.
Marsh/MMC is the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, providing advice
and transactional capabilities to clients in over 100 countries. At Marsh, Tiberg
has been senior consultant to many major corporations including Lockheed Martin
and Nissan Motors North America. Prior to joining Marsh, he was CEO of Jardine
Insurance Brokers - Los Angeles and Risk Management, Inc. Mr. Tiberg's background
includes international insurance and reinsurance experience, having lived and worked
a number of years in the Far East.
Juli Wilson Marshall, 41, is legal technology advisor to the company. Ms. Marshall
is Chair of the computer and technology litigation practice group and technology
committee at Latham & Watkins, one of the world's leading law firms with over 1,000
attorneys and offices throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Russia.
Ms. Marshall's practice includes protecting intellectual property rights on the Internet.
Ms. Marshall advises the Company on, among other things, the development of its
intellectual property protection module for iProtect.com and client service applications.
Latham & Watkins serves as counsel to iProtect.
