ONLINE SECURITY EXPANDS WEST COAST OPERATIONS
Glen Hastings Named as Director of Business Development

January 22, 2003 - In a continuation of the expansion of their core business services, OnlineSecurityTM has engaged Glen Hastings, a former strategy manager with Accenture, as Director of Business Development. Mr. Hastings will oversee key projects to establish new alliances and further organize practice groups.

"OnlineSecurityTM has a tradition of working with its partners to find answers for complex litigation. Our company has been in the forefront of developing methodologies as well as procedures in the digital evidence space." Remarked Erik Laykin, President of OnlineSecurityTM. "Like the industry as a whole, OnlineSecurityTM has come to an inflection point where it is important to have more stringent and systemized processes. These standards will help us better meet our clients' needs and expectations. I am pleased to have Mr. Hastings in this key role of engineering and implementing policies and procedures for the next evolutionary stage in digital evidence discovery. His experiences and training will not only make us a stronger company but will help us be more responsive to changes in the marketplace."

Under Mr. Hastings' direction, OnlineSecurityTM will shape and launch the OnlineSecurityTM Certification Program and Employer Protection Program (EPP). The OnlineSecurityTM Certification Program aims to help today's busy legal professionals and corporate executives discern what is truth and what is fiction in this rapidly evolving field via a vital and easy to understand rating system for new security technologies. EPP is a new service program that discourages employees, with low or no supervision, from unauthorized use of company resources for illegal activities that may result in the most common types of cyber crimes such as intellectual property theft and sexual harassment in the workplace.

In addition, Mr. Hastings will identify new opportunities with the company's existing partners and recruit talent for new positions that will fortify the company's case management procedures and processes.

"OnlineSecurityTM is experiencing an accelerated growth period." Glen Hastings commented. "I am delighted to be part of this dynamic company at this critical juncture in the industry. It will be exciting to work together with other pioneers and our clients to develop and set standards for this rapidly burgeoning sector."
